This is my dear friend Lu Liu's farewell from New York. She prepared this fashion show as the end of her staying in New York and her start point as a business woman back home, in Beijing: she will open her first clothing store,
Lu 12.28, named after her birthday, in April'08. I had the honor to have her in my wardrobe team for the movie Tiny Dancer, by Eva Husson, still in postproduction. I was her first boss ever!!!!
The video was not very well shot due to lightning conditions so I had to push myself in the editing. BTW, I started the editing while taking care of my mum at the hospital [last December she got sepsis]. I edited at night time while watching her dreams, sitting on a chair, on my beautiful laptop with my headphones on and taking advantage of the jet lag I was suffering as I flew from New York to Madrid.
fuck yeah!
i still can't believe it.
i got the first big YES of the year.
i was so mentally prepared already for a NO WAY
that now i'm gonna have to rush -so my style-
and be ready for this BIG change in my life.
>not scared at all after the training
on 'last minute changes' i've been doing
for the last couple of years.<
for the first time in a very long long time
now i know where i'll be in 6 months from now
and what i'll be doing.
bye bye gypsy [free]style
and holla new one.
i truly believe it will be [even]better.
^.^
